We were studying and then we saw people gathering outside just running out of all the buildings (it was like the second coming) and then you get outside and all you see is a bunch of missionaries surrounding...

The new buildings are GORGEOUS!

Everything at the MTC has been pretty great! This Wednesday I got to be a host to other new missionaries that were coming in. One was from the Dominican Republic. She was super sweet! An elder that served in her ward picked her up and dropped her off at the MTC. She was confused by the fact that my last name was Rodriguez but that I couldn't speak Spanish to her haha, she was really nice though. And then the other girl I hosted was actually cousins with one of the guys I worked with at the testing at BYU Hawaii, small world. In other news, we moved into the new buildings that they just opened at the MTC. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, tres belle! They have tall ceilings, so much space, a fountain and terrace out front, so many ponder areas, and so many gorgeous paintings with scriptures along with them all over. They said they wanted to be treated almost like a temple and for it to invite the spirit and it definitely does. It's beautiful and my whole class (me included) feel so bles...

Week Twooooooooo

Okay, being honest the first couple days were a little rough. Adjusting was fairly difficult, but this last week has been awesome!! (Probably going to jinx myself.) There's just so many awesome people here and such a cool and strong spirit. French has been coming along alright, I can now pray in French and bear my testimony in French. We've been practicing conversing and teaching lessons which has been coming along alright. My favorite part of each day is probably our time for personal study though. There's so much peace, revelation and understanding that comes from time spent with just you and the scriptures. I don't know why I haven't been studying with this kind of intent before. Funny moment of the week:  I made my super shy and sweet companion laugh so hard at dinner that she cried, sooo I would call that a success! Anyway all is well!
