I Saw President Uchtdorf! So cooooooool!!

Okay so this will be the third email from me! All is well still at the MTC!  The highlight of the week President Uchtdorf came on Sunday just to walk around campus!!! We were studying and then we saw people gathering outside just running out of all the buildings (it was like the second coming) and then you get outside and all you see is a bunch of missionaries surrounding this silver headed guy. He had the biggest smile on his face and there was just such a special light about him. I got to shake his hand..twice! and his wife gave me a hug saying "here's a hug from your mother" (she smelt really good.) It was so cool!!!! we were hoping that he was going to give the devotional that night, but he didn't so maybe this upcoming week we will be getting a general authority!

French is coming along alright. We teach at least one lesson a day which is good practice, and we have been fasting from English about every other day just so that we speak the language more. French is so pretty but also so weird. I swear there's like 3 words for the exact same thing but with slight changes. They have at least 3 different verbs for "to leave." Anyway, its fun though I feel like I am learning a lot and can't wait to use what I learn to go teach people and invite them to come unto Christ in New Caledonia!

One thing I have really loved is having at least an hour of study time every day. It's so relaxing and such a good way to receive revelation. I don't know what I was doing with my life before.

Spiritual realization of the week: charity. We talked about it as a class, studied it and then also for a lesson we had with a member who spoke French. We gave a lesson based off of the talk by president Monson "Charity never Faileth."  Charity is looking at people the same way Christ would. It is defined as the pure love of Christ. How different would this world be if we all looked at each other the same way Christ does, the same way that the person who knows and hears all of our difficulties looks at us. I am thankful that we can pray for charity and that Christ allows us to feel some of that love towards others that he feels for us. I have definitely received that in the MTC.

Love you all and hope all is well!!
