The Baptim of La Famille Manuopuava
hello!!
all is well, secteur is good, companion is good, new cal is good. can not wait for christmas!! and to talk to you guys i am stocked! I also cannot wait for this weekend, we have a family that is getting baptised, we are super excited, the family Manupuava, its a dad, mom and their 11 year old daughter, their other daughter is only 3 years old, but we are so excited for them and they really are ready to be baptised, we are stocked for this weekend.
christmas we will spend the evening together as missionaires at the chapel, eat, have some activities, do a gift exchange and what not. And for the morning we are going to ELCAIREZLEMONDE or the light the world thing that the church has been showing. we are going to sing christmas songs, probably make cookies, and hopefully some other creative things that we have yet to think of haha. I dont know if people are actually more receptive now, or maybe its just a little bit less awkward for us to go out and talk to people on the street because, you know, its christmas! but overall yah i guess i would say that people are a bit more receptive.
okay i love you lots and hope all is well, cant wait till skype!

picutres from the baptism of La famille Manuopuava
first photo is of the family and the guy on the left is their friend that introduced them to the church and that baptised them.
second photo is the family witht the family and the elders, elder hable all the way to the right is one of the two elders that had first started teaching them
and the third is my companion and I (please dont pay attention to how noticeable it is that i have gained weight haha)
but yah thats the famille Manuopuava. ( their 11 year old daughter Anya reminds me a ton of the girls) their family is awesome though, they are already a part of the ward and the lesson before their baptism we were talking about missionary work and how every member is a missionary, the whole time they were pretty much just saying how much they couldnt wait for saturday to come and to just be baptised. It was so cool to see such a loving and awesome family embrace the gospel. And i know they are going to be so blessed for their decisions and that their family and many other people in their lives will be touched by their choices to follow the Lord and embrace the gospel of Christ. So happy for them!
