Cookies make everybody happy

okayyyy, this week has been pretty good. Last p  day we went bowling as a district, and even thougyh for the tahtians it was their first time bowling (apparently they dont have bowling in tahiti) all 3 of the tahitians scored better than us 3 americans haha so that was funny.
I had my exchanges with our sister training leader Soeur Chard which was fun, I just spent a day in her district and doing missionary work but with her. She is awesome, she is from utah i believe, but also lived in the east cost as well. we made pizza, at some mcdonalds, knocked on lots of doors, and also played our ukes and sang at the bus stops giving out some books of mormon, it was a good day.
sunday night we had a fireside for the young men in our ward, and one of our amis Boris he gave a talk, it was so good! he is super close with a lot of the young men in our ward which is great and listening to him give a talk was way cool. 5 minutes before the fireside though one of the young men leaders asked if i would play the piano for the fireside i agreed when he told me the opening and the closing songs. But it wasnt till during the fireside that i found out there were about 4 other musical numbers that i would also be accompanying, some of them went alright but some of them were pretty rough haha everyone is too nice and relaxed here to really care thoguh thankfully. so yah that was kind of embarassing, but "casse pas la tete"
besides that our week was pretty normal, i think i am kind of sort of getting used to how things work here, how missionary life works, how to talk in french...kind of haha. My companion is not one that like silence and she loves to listen to stories (especially stories that are about the movies) she asked me if america is like the movies, and if high school is like it is in all the movies, and i told eh not really. she asked me if i was a cheerleader and i told her no but that becky, my sister, was and she started going crazy asking if she dated a football player and things like that, she asked how becky met her husband and how they decided to get married in the temple and how the wedding was, she was funny, so there you go becky you made my companions day yesterday haha. but yah i end up practicing lots of french just from telling stories to my companion haha
other than that, things are just going, working working working, oh i taugh my companion how to make cookies! She liked that a lot, and we brought some to a member to say thanks for feeding us every monday night and working with us and i guess other members saw and now they want cookies too haha but we are poor missionaries, and choclate is far too expensive here sooooo yahhhhhh but cookies, they make everybody happy.
