okay this week! hmmmm
we are getting toward the end of transfers, so its possible that change will be a coming! but still dont know, we find out friday.
First photo is a picture of us at the "tours de magenta" pretty much the high light of our area. Its about 7 or 8 big and kind of sketchy apartment buildings. A lot of the missionaries dont really like the tours, but their not bad. the elevators kind of remind me of tower of terror thoguh, they are all dimmed and, small and its just a metal box with lots of graffitti on it taking us up to a lesson where we are hoping to share the gospel with someone. Soeur Carbayal and i like the tours though, not necessarily because of the buildings but because there are a lot of people there that we like a lot.
The other photos are of our two youth investigators, Boris, who has been doing really good (although anytime we commit him to do something, he says hell do it if we make him cookies haha). And the other is Kura. they are both awesome.
Last week for p day we had a district activity where we did Quen Toro, and then ate at the top. little miracle of our p day though, when we went to buy our food in town at a little quick restaurant before the hike, a member walked in and said that she wanted to pay for all of our meals (that was all 6 of us missionaries) we were super happy, and the hike was pretty good, i got pretty sunburnt i think haha i need to wear more sunscreen.
what else has been happening, hmm we have a family that we are teaching, the mom is a member but the two kids(9 and 10) arent, and the reason the kids arent baptised is because the father wont allow it. But the family is always so nice, and the kids are so smart! they came to a soiree familliale, family night, at the chapel which went really well. family nights are the best.
in other news, there is a little goat that has been wandering around our neighborhood, not really sure how he got to new caledonia, we think he is someones pet in our neighborhood. but he is so cute, it always makes my day when i see the little goat wandering around the streets.
I am doing good though, all is well, people dont progress here very quickly, everyone is quite slow when it comes to recieving the gospel and acting upon things, but we just do the best we can and try to share as much joy and hope by the gospel as we can. It truley is a message of joy.
