A bird pooped on my foot
So this week went super fast, I feel like not much has happened...
Last week for p day we went to the zoo haha they had ALOT of birds, but they were pretty cool birds, and before that we had some steak and fries which were delicious, best part was that they were free! A member worked at the restaurant, so good!
Speaking of food, everyone says that people like you more if you eat a lot soooo I will probably be gaining a lot of weight here, just kidding, I've been exercising every morning.
They have what they call American sandwiches which is where they put meat and sauce and lettuce and fries in a baguette and call it a sandwich. I love them. I also had McDonalds during my exchange with the stls (thats the leaders over the sisters. Once every six weeks we spend a day with them.) McDonalds was good but super expensive. A meal is like 14 dollars.
We have zone conference tomorrow, so president is flying over for that which I am super stoked about, kind of because it is all going to be in English which is nice haha but also because we will have all the missionaries of New Cal together.
Other news... not a whole lot has happened. A bird pooped on my foot while we were waiting at the bus stop, that was funny, oh and on the bus we heard an interesting remix of Moana and Hollaback girl, haha that was funny as well.
A lot of the kids in the ward will come up and ask me if I am from Utah, haha which is cute and it's nice talking to them because they are patient with my French.
Our investigators are doing alright, a lot of them have a problem with the word of wisdom which is hard to help but we are trying. We do have one youth investigator who has only had two lessons but she started reading the Book of Mormon on Thursday and she is already on 2 Nephi 24. That made me so happy to hear!! And while we were sitting in the chapel waiting for an activity to start I saw her sitting in the corner by herself just reading the Book of Mormon, that made my week probably. The gospel brings so much joy, but sharing the gospel and seeing others find joy in it as well is one of the greatest feelings ever!
